What should I do before storing my toys?

We always recommend you thoroughly clean your toys before storing them for any amount of time. This involves washing them with a toy cleaner and properly drying them before putting them away. Being sure Ensuring everything is dry is especially important with strokers, which can also be dusted with refresh powder after cleaning to keep the material feeling soft and supple.

In addition to cleaning and drying your toys, if your toy is battery-operated (non-rechargeable), we recommend storing it with the batteries taken out. Even if the toy is powered off, keeping the batteries in can shorten the life of your toy.

Is it okay to store sex toys together?

While silicone toys can be stored together without a problem, there are some precautions you should take when storing jelly or TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) toys. Enchantasys Wellness Expert and certified sex educator Toni Kennedy says, “TPE/Jelly toys can be very pleasurable and soft due to their porous material. However, we recommend that you store these toys separately by using simple ZipLoc or toy bags. If they are resting against each other they could potentially melt together–and we want you to melt, not your toys.”

That being said, any toys made of ABS plastic (hard plastic), silicone, glass, or steel are all perfectly safe to store together while touching. You only need to take extra care when you have toys made of a softer, squishier material such as jelly or TPE, as these materials can break down over time, especially in heat or direct sunlight. How do I maintain privacy with sex toy storage?

Sometimes it’s not enough simply to store your toys, but to secure them from prying eyes. Now you can quickly hide your toy by dropping it through the neck hole of the shirt and it will fall into the hidden bag, out of sight of any prying eyes.”

How do I keep things organized?

Toy bags and boxes are a great way to store your toys and keep things organized. If you opt for toy bags, one idea is to keep everything you need for each toy in the bag with it. If your toy comes with a charging cable, an attachment, or remote, try keeping all of these accessories in the bag with the toy so they’re always easy to find when you need them.

We want the easiest and fastest path to our destination. We all have so many rechargeable devices. People like me, who love toys, will own more than one rechargeable toy.
